We probably won’t see a Diablo 4 public beta until Christmas, but you can celebrate the holiday season with a Diablo 3 event that offers tons of helpful resources and a collection of free pet and cosmetic transmogs. The fantasy game Diablo 3 introduced the “Hell Holidays” event, in which Winter comes to Sanctuary along with a restless group of Hell’s helpers who have stolen all the gifts for their heinous deeds.
Hell Holidays in Diablo 3 will be available from December 16 to February 5., which means you’ll have plenty of time to escape the freezing weather and warm up while slaying demons. During the event, defeating Treasure Goblins and Great Rift Guardians can grant a special holiday gift item that can be opened to unlock all kinds of delicious rewards.
Diablo 3 Holiday Gift Content
You can get Diablo 3 holiday gifts from Treasure Goblins and Great Rift Guardians, but the latter will have a higher drop rate due to its tougher nature. In advance, Blizzard states that each holiday gift will always include the following:
- Rune of Five Khanduran, Caldeum Nightshade, Arreat War Tapestry, Corrupted Angel’s Chair, and Westmarch Holy Water
- arcane dust
- Death shadow
- forgotten souls
- reusable parts
- hidden crystals
