Elden Ring Sword and Bow Combo in RPG Mode

Have you ever dreamed of wielding the best Elden Ring sword and bow at the same time? Trying to pick just one of the best Elden Ring weapons to use can sometimes be a harrowing task, as there are so many fun ways to play FromSoftware’s RPG. Luckily, you won’t have to limit yourself so much if you take advantage of this new Elden Ring mod, which aims to combine the sheer simplicity of a straight sword with the fiery ranged attacks of a bow. He also brings a bit of charm to draw enemies to his side as the icing on the cake.

The Slumbering Dynasty Elden Ring mod was created by creator Hotbite, who previously worked on various other Elden Ring movesets inspired by games like Dark Souls 3 and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The moveset works with all straight swords, but you will need to use the Ashes of War Holy Trina sword and equip the two-handed weapon to use the moveset.

Just a few moments to see the move in action should inspire you to use it. Executing a few quick moves with a two-handed sword before recovering with a backslash can be, dare we say it, a little daunting, more like something out of Devil May Cry than traditional Souls-style combat. However, when it’s this much fun, we’re not going to complain; after all, the Elden Ring offers enough ways for the player to break it in-game.

As if weaving between quick bursts and Monster Hunter-esque slider shots wasn’t enough, Slumbering Dynasty offers an extra trick up its sleeve. The spell system allows you to use uncharged ashes of war to enchant enemies, who can then become your allies. After you kill a certain number of them, you can use Charged Ashes of War to summon those units to fight alongside you, as seen in the video below.

If you want to try it for yourself, you can find Slumbering Dynasty on Nexus Mods, where you’ll also find Hotbite’s previous work, including the ability to become a teleported shinobi from the Elden Ring.

This latest mod has also been tweaked to ensure it works with the Elden Ring 1.08.1 patch, which removes some moveset tweaks in PvP Colosseum and fixes a nasty multiplayer bug outside of it. If you’re hoping to beat the toughest bosses in the Elden Ring game, make sure you use the best Elden Ring builds before picking up this new moveset and you should be set to succeed. Of course, we have plenty of other best Elden Ring mods to explore as well.
