The number of Steam Deck competitors seems to be growing by the day, and now we have more information on another potential portable competitor. The OneXPlayer 2 is already considered a more powerful machine on paper, but this higher level of performance seems to come at a higher price.
With an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U and Radeon 680M, OneXPlayer 2 will be able to play the best Steam Deck games better than a Valve machine. You’ll also need some extra power since you’ll be doubling the number of pixels to 2560 x 1600. Needless to say, everything should look sharp and run smoothly.
Unfortunately, you’ll have to shell out more than double the starting price for the Steam Deck to get OneXPlayer 2. Starting at $899, you’re getting at least more RAM and storage space than on a Valve machine. , in addition to the other benefits mentioned above.
The OneXPlayer 2 IndieGoGo page will launch on December 20, and its manufacturer suggests that the first devices will ship to fans in March 2023.
