The Dawning free event is back in Destiny 2 today to get all Guardians in the holiday spirit. Eva Levante has returned to the Tower to help players make delicious cookies with questionable ingredients. Until January 2, players will be able to participate in Alvorada and gift their delicious creations to (?) their favorite characters.

New this year is the Dawning Event Card, which allows players to complete quests to unlock rewards such as the Emblem, Shader, and Exotic Ghost Shell. Players can also upgrade their cards with Silver to unlock another Exotic Ghost Skin, an Exotic Sparrow, a new emote, and more. For Guardians who want to go the extra mile, completing all of the event card challenges will earn them the Seal and the title of “Exemplary Pastry Chef”.
In addition to using stasis-infused snowballs in combat, players will be able to earn the new Cool Head FP7 Legendary Pulse Rifle to help them find ingredients. During the event, more Dawn-themed cosmetics will be available in the Eververse Store, such as new armor ornament sets for all classes. Until the end of the Seraph Season, players will also be able to participate in Moments of Triumph as they prepare for the new expansion Destiny 2 Fall of Lightwhich will premiere on February 28.
