Undead on the march! Rise of the Lich King is a new addition to Hearthstone today, bringing the 11th playable class to the tavern, the Death Knight! Follow Arthas Menethil’s journey to become the Lich King, a notorious Warcraft villain, through the Death Knight Prologue. With 203 brand new Rise of the Lich King cards, including the new Death Knight class, the new Undead minion type, and the new Mana Hunger keyword, players will have access to the most diverse strategy and deck builds in Hearthstone history. .

NEW CLASS: DEATH KNIGHT
- 68 new class cards, including 32 free ones from the Core Set and the Path of Arthas offer.
- Hero Power: Ghoul Onslaught
- Summons a 1/1 Ghoul with Dash that dies at the end of your turn.
- New Feature: Corpses
- Whenever an allied minion dies, it becomes a Corpse.
- Deck mounting system: runes
- Blood for life management and manipulation strategies.
- Ice for direct damage and freezing spells.
- Unholy to the minions swarming the board.
NEW EXPANSION: RISING OF THE LICH KING
- New Minion Type: Undead
- Hundreds of minions from previous expansions have been updated to include the Undead minion type.
- New Keyword: Mana Thirst
- Cards gain additional powers when you have enough mana crystals to activate their effect.
- You do not need to consume mana to activate bonus effects.
SPECIAL EVENTS
- The Death Knights Launch Event has STARTED and will be available for two weeks! Complete the event daily quests to earn XP for the event’s special reward chain. Also, don’t miss the Veil of Winter event in the coming weeks!
