This PS5-sized gaming PC can still house an Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti

BUT gaming computer One enthusiast has shown just how small customizations can be with a platform barely bigger than a PS5. Despite its thinness, it proves you don’t need to sacrifice size for power, packing impressive specs as one of Nvidia’s most powerful previous generation cards.

In a Reddit post, user Privaterbok takes a great look at his gaming PC built into a Fractal Design Ridge case. It looks like a setup alongside the PS5 could compete with Sony’s console for the money in terms of space savings.

As for what’s inside, the rig packs an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor alongside an Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti FE, the latter of which fits the case perfectly. As far as the best gaming PC options go, this one looks pretty terrible: Privateerbok says they can run Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in 4K, though they don’t mention game settings or visuals.

Interestingly, there’s also a decade-old Intel i3-530 processor, as well as two early Intel 2.5 SSDs, though Privaterbok says they’re for show. Speaking of cosmetic additions, another user on Reddit pointed out the Hot Wheels Jurassic Park truck, which is subtly placed under the fan, which is nice.

This little build from Fractal Design Ridge shows that custom systems don’t have to be massive to even house something as massive as the 3090 Ti. If you’re looking for the best mini gaming PC you can find, there are plenty of space-saving options out there. It’s even possible to build an Nvidia rig in a box to really reduce your workspace.
