Destiny 2’s crossover, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, will launch on December 6 in both games, allowing players of the Viking-themed adventure game to wear styles inspired by the popular space game, and vice versa.

The cross-link coincides with the launch of Destiny 2 Season 19. After the launch of the new season, players can visit Eververse to spend their money on an Assassin’s Creed-themed ship, Sparrow, Ghost of Eden’s Apple, cosmetics, and three armor sets including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla characters Eivor, Cassandra and Altair.

On the same day, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will release its latest content update, The Last Chapter. With this content update, players can purchase a Destiny 2 themed Character Pack featuring armor, swords, a ranger skin, and a mount skin. The weapon set will include cosmetic items inspired by Destiny 2 subclasses, with gameplay perks and special effects.

Bungie and Ubisoft announcements confirm Mak Moderator’s Assassin’s Creed Destiny 2 cross-leaking. Dataminer found armor sets named after Saint-14 and Lord Shaxx in the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla game files.

The crossover is in partnership with Ubisoft. If successful, players will be able to see even more cosmetic items inspired by other Ubisoft titles like Far Cry 6, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, or the upcoming Skull & Bones.

Bungie discussed the crossover in the latest issue of the This Week at Bungie (TWAB) series. The update also details significant changes to the in-game weapon metagame, planned game pool rotation updates to the Iron Banner, Trials of Osiris, and Nightfall weapons, as well as a nerf to Void invisibility.

The massive list of weapon changes includes perk adjustments, tweaks to some of the most popular and least popular exotic weapons in the game, and a teaser about adding “additional 3.0 subclass verbs to various exotic weapons.” This indicates that Bungie could possibly add more status effects like Devour and Ignite to some exotic weapons.

The blog post also reveals that the Season 19 artifact will be Stasis-focused, following Bungie’s trend of theming seasonal artifacts into elemental subclasses after the Witch Queen expansion. He also notes that “Seraph projectiles will be appearing in more weapons next season”, tying the next season to Rasputin’s recent trailer in Destiny 2 and providing further proof that the next season will have something to do with the arrival of the Warmind and may include a review. from Destiny 2 Warmind Cells.

Rasputin’s reappearance will go a long way as FPS game players prepare to face humanity’s biggest threat yet, likely with the release of Destiny 2 Lightfall in February 2023.
