Dota 2: Introducing the new BOOM Esports team

On the eve of the upcoming 2022/2023 season, BOOM Esports has unveiled a new Dota 2 roster.

After the departure of three players: Timothy “TIMS” Randrup, Rolen “skem” Ong and Sulia “JaCkky” Humphetsavong Che officially retired from BOOM Esports in the middle of the month, BOOM officially announced: Kenny “Xepher” Deo, Yap “xNova” Jian Wei and John Anthony. “Natsumi” Vargasprofessional players will join the other remaining players in the squad who: Erin “Yopaj-” Jasper Ferrer, Sayeful “Fbz” Ilham and Chai “Mushi” Yi Fung.

Yap “xNova” Jian Wei is one of the top talents in the SEA Dota 2 scene right now, having previously joined the Royal Never Give Up (RNG) team at TI11, Ehome and even PSG.LDG at TI8.

Kenny “Xepher” Deo, better known as Xepher, previously made a name for himself in T1 in 2021 when he led the South Korean team to qualify for the Internationals 10. At the time, he was the first Indonesian to qualify for the Internationals.

John “Natsumi-” Vargas, better known as Natsumi, is a player of Filipino origin who has already played for Execration and Fnatic in previous seasons, but this time he will play the role of Carry, replacing JaCkky in BOOM Esports.
