It’s time to start stalking Chaos in Hive Tertium, and the system requirements for Warhammer 40K: Darktide are out now, so you can make sure your PC is ready to go before you dive into some bloody co-op gameplay. Now, Fatshark has revealed recommended specs for various hardware environments, along with presets to help you get closer to what you need, even if you’re not using one of the best gaming PCs on the market.
If you plan on using all the fancy ray tracing effects, you’ll need one of the best graphics cards available. For high-res 4K GI and ray-traced reflections, Fatshark doesn’t recommend anything more than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, and even then, you’ll need DLSS enabled with DLSS 3.0 frame rate technology.
Fortunately, at the lower end of the preset spectrum, you’ll need something like a GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 570 under the hood to see around 45fps at 1080p. Regardless of which configuration you use, you’ll need 50GB of storage, and Fatshark recommends an SSD for all but the lowest configurations.

Darktide’s release date was originally set for September, but it’s been pushed back and will now release on November 30, unless you pre-order of course. In that case, you can join the game earlier, starting on November 17.
