Finalmouse Gaming Keyboard Changes RGB to Unreal Engine 5 Screen

Plus gaming keyboard options are awash in RGB, but a Finalmouse leak reveals a fascinating alternative. Instead of the usual lighting, the company’s first board will apparently use an integrated high-resolution screen to hide itself with interactive skins, and they’re powered by Unreal Engine 5.

He received lucky cat On Twitter, a leaked Finalmouse gaming keyboard shows the device’s built-in screen in action, complete with a koi fish-themed animation. The screen itself extends to the edges of the device, and the transparent keys help hide the fact that this isn’t a little rectangular pond for your gaming desktop.

In some ways, the display on the Finalmouse gaming keyboard almost looks like a green screen effect, but there’s more to this newcomer than meets the eye. While the leak doesn’t show the screen’s interactive capabilities, it is implied that each animation will respond to input. In theory, this means that if you press a key, the fish should behave as if it had just created ripples in real water.

Sounds like a game in itself, right? Well, it comes with a dedicated GPU and CPU, making it almost a standalone gaming PC. However, like the best gaming keyboards on the market, it has an 8000Hz polling rate and linear switches, so it’s likely to combine style with competitiveness.

We usually recommend taking all leaks with a grain of salt, but Finalmouse actually used Lucky’s leak as an opportunity for a sneak peek. A retweetthe company says that the information above is “just the tip of the iceberg” and that we’ll know more about the high-end keyboard on December 17.

We’ll have to wait for an official announcement before we know if Finalmouse’s display technology will “evolve” the industry away from RGB, but early signs look promising. Considering the incredible specs and capabilities of the keyboard, it’s likely to come with a hefty price tag, as the company’s best gaming mouse already costs a lot of money.
