WRC Generations will contain a new one championship modeoffered by the developers introduction video The one you found above and we’ll find in the game as soon as it debuts on PC, Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
Postponed to November 3, WRC Generations will focus heavily on the Championship mode, which will be split into two distinct categories: solo and team. You can solve the ranking alone or by adding the points scored by each player.
“In the cross-platform Championship Mode (with the exception of Switch, which will run independently), the goal is to get the best rankings in different leagues,” the press release says.

How seasons work
Seasons are divided into weeks and include a qualification phase (one week) and ten weeks of competition with daily and weekly events that players can participate in to climb the ranks of their factions.
Each week ends with a new leaderboard where players and teams are repositioned based on their performance. At this point, players gain experience to unlock new driver card customization items and new design editor stickers.
At the end of the season, the world’s top 3 teams and their best players are inducted into the League Hall of Fame.
Events
For each event, players have 3 attempts to get the best time. There is also a warm-up mode to practice the stages. The events of the solo and team modes are different.
Daily events are simple rallies that are updated daily in imposed conditions (stage, car, weather) and added to the group rankings at the end of the day. Weekly events are full rallies that can be completed in a few game sessions and are refreshed every week.
The player can choose a car from a predefined category. Damage, repair and tire selection are made in the service park. Points earned are added to the group leaderboard at the end of each week.
Finally, qualifying stages are events that appear at the beginning of each season that use the same format as a weekly event in their operation. The results obtained take the form of an overall ranking that determines each player’s starting position for the season.
Calendar of the first seasons
There is a two-week pre-season starting October 31st to keep players familiar with the system. The first season officially begins on November 28, 2022. With these championships, KT Racing plans to introduce a new long-term competitive mode.
The leagues cater to the best players in the world who will fight for money to get into the Hall of Fame at the end of each season. In addition, they will support the progression of novice players over time who will face more affordable opponents.
