Intel Meteor Lake is the code name for the 14th generation Core Team Blue processors, a series of chips that are likely to offer significant performance improvements over the company’s current generation processors.
Future Intel Meteor Lake processors are likely to include AMD Ryzen 8000 or 7000 series chips equipped with V-Cache 3D. It’s still too early to tell which lineup will contain the best gaming processor, but you can be sure the blue team is doing its best to retain the performance crown.

Intel Meteor Lake release date rumors
Intel Meteor Lake was originally rumored to launch in 2023, but it may now have been pushed back to 2024. The reasons for this change may be due in part to the Blue Team’s need to pressure TSMC for at least some of its production.
During the company’s Q3 2022 earnings announcement, company CEO Pat Gelsinger noted that Meteor Lake processors will enter the “film-to-film” stage in Q4 2022, so we can expect them to arrive in the second trimester at the earliest. .mid 2023.
Intel Meteor Lake Price Speculation
There is currently no information on the cost of the Intel Meteor Lake processors, which is not surprising given the estimated release date.
However, we can use the prices of the previous generation for a rough estimate. The Intel Core i9 13900K and 12900K processors launched with an MSRP of $589, which means we shouldn’t expect the next i9 14900K to cost less than around $600.
If the idea of paying that much for a processor gives you goosebumps, don’t worry because the less powerful Core i7, i5 and i3 models can cost much less.
Intel Meteor Lake Spec Rumors
Since these are the first processors built with the Intel 4 (7nm) technology node, we can expect the Intel Meteor Lake specs to be significantly higher than the current generation of Team Blue chips.
Intel Meteor Lake processors will use the new LGA-1851 socket, and the series’ performance and efficiency cores will use new architectures.

There are currently no Intel Meteor Lake benchmarks released by reputable hardware sources or by the blue team itself.
