Roguelike shooters are joined by recently released games like Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, but not all of the competitors on the list are classified as compatible with handheld gaming PCs.

Victoria 3 is another strange entry in the list of the best games of October, since the strategy game is not compatible with the PC controller. However, gamers can use the best Steam Deck and play the simulator on the gaming table as it turns the handheld device into a low-level Linux installation.
In terms of the most popular Steam Deck games, Elden Ring now takes second place. Favorites like No Man’s Sky, Stardew Valley, and Slay the Spire are also holding on to their spots, but big-budget beasts like GTA 5 and Skyrim are closing in.
