New Fallout: New Vegas mod turns all RPG Obsidian NPCs into hostile enemies, turning the normally peaceful journey of the Mojave into a brutal survival horror game and a new Halloween challenge for Fallout 4 and Elder Scrolls fans. . Wait, and wait, for the coveted release date from Bethesda and Starfield.
Aptly named Nightmare Mode, this PlatinumShadow Fallout mod features an ominous “Happy Halloween” message and a spooky full list of all its features. “In Nightmare,” explains PlatinumShadow, “all NPCs and creatures are enemies. This means no doctors, merchants, factions, and followers. To move forward, you’ll need to sneak or kill to recover and survive in a world where everyone wants you dead.”
All of Fallout: New Vegas and its accompanying DLC can be played in Nightmare mode, which means that some essential characters selected for the story will not be hostile. We count them. There are ten to ten NPCs in the entire New Vegas art that will not try to kill you outright. Besides, you are alone.
“After character creation is complete, you’ll get a message that Nightmare Mode is active, which makes (almost) all entities hostile by default,” PlatinumShadow continues. “Anything that detects you will try to kill you, so you’ll need to collect enough ammo, meds, and supplies to survive. Combine it with Hardcore mode and change the difficulty to your preference for a truly brutal experience.”
So if you like the ultimate survival game, or maybe you just want to know what it would be like if you were hated by absolutely everyone, for example playing Game of Thrones Season 8 writers, you can download Nightmare Mode right now from Nexus. Mods.
Alternatively, you can try out some of the other best New Vegas mods, or maybe some Halloween games to get you in the mood for the end of the spooky season. We’ve also got more on Bethesda’s next RPG installment, thanks to our Starfield towns guide, where we hope not all NPCs are hostile assassins.
