A new Total War: Warhammer 3 patch has been released that fixes some pretty glaring bugs in the fantasy strategy game. One of the bugs was randomly granting immortality to units on the battlefield, and another was preventing Immortal Empires from being cast under certain conditions. Patch 2.2.1 fixes both.
Both bugs appeared after the release of Update 2.2 for Total War: Warhammer III. The first bug caused units to lose the limit of healing they could receive after being revived, making units immortal. This was a particularly annoying problem when you were on the opposing team.
The second bug was a bit more mundane, but no less disturbing: Due to a script error, the Immortal Empires campaign would sometimes not work if the player was using mods that switched factions and races.
Creative Assembly reports that the Total Warhammer modding community has brought this issue to the team’s attention, and it has now been fixed in patch 2.2.1, for which our sincere thanks to these supportive modders.
