Skyrim mods never cease to amaze me. From fan-made Daedric DLC to the ability to trade dragon-slaying for a 9-to-5 job, the possibilities for Bethesda’s RPG are endless. Some even try to stay on top of everything, like the recently released Skyrim mod that turns the location into a bustling wizarding town with markets, an upcoming quest, and over 100 NPCs and 190 lines of dialogue.

Called “City of Bromjunaar” and designed by Sdugis, this mod transforms Labyrinthian, which sits between Solitude and Whiterun, into a repopulated city full of things to do, with more to come.

Now a “city for wizards”, Labyrinthian should be a bigger reward for completing the College of Winterhold quest chain, as it becomes a whole new location. In the future, a quest will also be added that will make you feel like a real archmage thanks to the Skyrim mod. The new city is currently a playable space, but some of the glitches in the quest and the mod itself need to be ironed out at this point.

Bromjunaar has six houses, an alchemy shop, a market with six merchants, a forge, a small dungeon, an inn, a castle you own, a prison, and a wizard academy. It’s all populated by a council of professors from the College of Winterhold, around 100 NPCs with over 190 lines, and functions like any other major settlement in Skyrim.

So this city of wizards mod for Skyrim has a lot to offer and more. In fact, Sdugis went even further, explaining a bit about the current state and history of the city of Bromjunaara. The city is not a political entity, as it is neutral territory between Stormcloaks and Imperials, although the Thalmor are also prohibited from entering the city. Only those who use magic can live here, and magical experiments and research must be done in certain areas, and Khajiit merchant caravans can stay here as long as they wish.

If you want to download this Skyrim mod, you can find it on Nexus Mods.
