D.Va can do exactly that, and with one of the highest skill levels in the game, investing time into D.Va’s game should pay off in the future. Her main guns and rocket salvos deal a lot of damage, and she’s very mobile, which can help if you need to run towards a target.
D.Va doesn’t offer much protection to the rest of the team, but her Defense Matrix ability is stronger than ever, allowing her to easily stay alive. With improved overall health and versatile attacks, Sigma can be an effective damage dealer in the right hands.
Winston
Considering the immersive meta is all the rage in Overwatch 2, Winston is definitely worth picking up. His new alt-fire gives him long-range knockback potential and can be combined with his nose-down landing for a close-in killing blow. It’s a bit squishy without the shield on it, so use it sparingly if you want to keep fighting. Winston is most effective when the enemy team has a lot of long-range DPS heroes or pocket healers: he can dive in, destroy the backline, and draw enough attention for the rest of his team to catch up.
Junker Queen
The Season 1 changes didn’t work in Junker Queen’s favor. He’s great for brawls, big interactions, and, well, damage, but you’ll have to be a lot more careful with how you use his abilities after the nerf. However, he can be very useful if you’re queuing solo, as he’s one of the few tanks that can stay alive by dealing a lot of damage. However, he is too slow and has too few ways to avoid damage, so he struggles if not fully supported.

Doomfist suffers from crowd control and stun utility, and with heroes like Zarya, Ana, Sigma, and Sombra topping our main Overwatch 2 roster, it looks like these are the heroes you’ll find when you can master their mobility and move quickly. Doomfist can still deal a lot of damage up close, but is too easy to stop in most comps.
