FIFA 23 TOTV 4 the predictions were meant to be a bit more detailed than the previous set of guesses, and only one hat-trick was ever scored in a major league football game. That said, the context of some players’ performances, rather than just the numbers, would certainly justify their place in the team of the week, as there has been plenty of late drama in Europe’s biggest matches.
Manchester City have not stopped pressing the accelerator throughout this week, beating Southampton 4-0. Erling Haaland has only managed to score once per game, which is short of the insanely high bar he has been setting himself of late. Dortmund’s bold performance saw them go down 2-0 to Bundesliga series winners Bayern Munich, with two players in particular potentially worthy of inclusion in the team of the week. Here is our planned starting XI for FIFA 23 TOTW 4.
FIFA 23 TOTW 4 Starting XI Predictions
- CG: Hugo Lloris (Spurs, Premier League) – He stayed the course in a close game, made some great saves and gave his team what they had at the start of the game with a slim 1-0 lead.
- KG: Joao Cancelo (Manchester City, Premier League) – He scored once, provided another assist, the defender is very important to City and it was a demonstration of his attacking talent all over the pitch.
- KG: rami bensebini (M’gladbach, Bundesliga) – Scored two goals for himself as his team lost 5-2. The long-back scored a resounding victory with his brace, allowing M’gladbach to continue to claim a place in Europe.
- DC: Eder Militao (Real Madrid, La Liga) – The epitome of the FIFA meta-defender, Militao scored a very quick goal that proved decisive as Real Madrid cruised to a 1-0 win.
- DC: Nico Schlotterbeck (Borussia Dortmund, Bundesliga) – A central defender grabbed a loose ball, turned an opposing player around and crossed it, after which his team scored a very late goal against Bayern Munich.
- MRI: moussa devil (Leverkusen, Bundesliga) – The winger scored a goal and provided two assists as his team beat Schalke 4-0 in a solid 4-0 win. Both teams are bottom of the table, so this win sheds some light between Leverkusen and the relegation places.
- DV: Cody Gakpo (PSV, Eredivisie) – The winger claimed victory in the 75th minute, maintaining the excellent form he had when beating the Eredivisie POTM in September.
- CAM: Phil Foden (Manchester City, Premier League) – After missing a TOTW card for his hat-trick last week, Foden is sure to show up this time around, scoring a goal and helping City to another comfortable 4:0 win.
- CAM: Nicholas Lodeiro (Seattle Sounders, MLS) – The midfielder scored two goals against San Jose in the bottom-of-the-table game. A final score of 2-2 and a brace from Lodeiro keep the Sounders in a stable position above the bottom five.
- ST: edin dzeko (Inter Milan, Serie A) – The perennial leader scored twice in a 2-1 loss to his team. Important victory for his rival, Sassuolo, one of his closest rivals for a place in Europe.
- ST: Antonio Modeste (Borussia D, Bundesliga) – In the Bundesliga classic, Dortmund drew 2:2 with Bayern Munich. Modeste assisted the first goal and then secured the cross with the last shot of the game to equalise.
These are our FIFA 23 TOTW 4 starting eleven predictions. Given that Foden missed last week, it would be appropriate for him to appear this time as he continues his rich form. If Schlotterback gets a special card, that will mean his OTW will get an upgrade as well.
