Amazon Games’ MMORPG New World will add Fresh Start World servers early next month. From November 2you will be able to join new servers where Aeternum is exactly the same as when New World was released, but with all the improvements and optimizations that have been made in the meantime.
“We’ve had a lot of requests for Fresh Start Worlds, so we’re using the time between the release of Brimstone Sands and the opening of those worlds to give you a quality fresh start,” says Amazon Games. Brimstone Sands, the next expansion for New World, will be released on October 18.
Amazon Games states that in Fresh Start Worlds “all parts, loot, and characters must come from these servers. This means that neither powerful nor wealthy adventurers can move to one of the new worlds.”
As the studio explains, these Fresh Start servers are meant to be a blank canvas where players can “start over” and experience “new streamlined quests, points of interest, and an updated New World story.”
You can see some of this stuff on the PTR even before the servers go live on November 2nd.
