Overwatch Reddit used the listed prices for Legendary, Epic, and Rare skins in Overwatch 2 to calculate the approximate amount you’d have to spend if you, as a new Blizzard FPS player, wanted to purchase all of the original Overwatch cosmetics. for the complete list of heroes in OW2, and the price is quite high.
Reddit user Loliscoolyay4me posted a comprehensive table listing all of the Overwatch heroes along with the number of Legendary, Rare, and Epic skins each one has, along with eye-catching victory poses, voice lines, graffiti, emotes, and poses. . Since Overwatch 2 is free to play, these types of cosmetics can be purchased through microtransactions made with Overwatch Coins. Using a price list originally published by Forbes after an Overwatch 2 hands-on preview that claims 11,600 Overwatch Coins will cost $99.99 or around £89.99, Loliscoolyay4me calculated that for one dollar you get 116,011 Overwatch Coins.
Using the same list that says legendary skins in Overwatch 2 will cost 1900 coins, epic skins will cost 1000, and rare skins will cost 300, Loliscoolyay4me makes a small addition to kick off the Overwatch hero count. There are a total of 362 legendary skins available to purchase across the entire Overwatch 1 hero roster. So Loliscoolyay4me calculated that if a new Overwatch 2 player wanted to purchase all of these items individually, they would need to spend 1,900 Overwatch Coins 362 times, for a total of $5,928 or £5,293.
Including the prices of Epic Skins, Rare Skins, and all other available cosmetics, Loliscoolyay4me concludes that to purchase each Overwatch 1 individually in Overwatch 2, a player would need to spend $12,080.69 or $10,788. money. as cosmetics can be obtained by playing Overwatch 1 after purchasing the game from the store.
However, it should be noted that the figures calculated by Loliscoolyay4me and posted on Reddit are based on skin prices that have not been confirmed in the final version of Overwatch 2, which is due out on October 4, and do not take into account either. . skins that can be purchased by purchasing Overwatch Battle Pass 2, which provides players with various cosmetic items as well as consumable parts.
