Lots of Nvidia RTX-4090 Graphics card prices are now listed online and custom models may be available at suggested retail price. While the overclocked GPUs will cost you significantly more than the Green Team Founders Edition, new listings suggest we’ll see RTX 4000 variants with reasonable price tags.
Newegg currently has eight RTX-4090 The listed GPUs cost between $1,599 and $1,999. The page lists options from MSI, Asus, and Gigabyte, and each vendor seems to have a card that matches Nvidia’s MSRP. There are also more expensive overclocked models on the page, but the difference between a standard Gaming Trio and a beefed-up Gaming Trio X is only $50.
If you’re already planning on paying a lot more for a custom RTX 4090, you’re probably already considering Newegg’s MSI SUPRIM Liquid X. For just $150 more than MSRP, you can get a powerful overclocked GPU. that comes with an AIO cooler, so bundling up the best gaming PC may have your wallet groaning instead of screaming.
In general, we’d recommend taking any word on RTX 4000 pricing with a pinch of salt, but Newegg isn’t the only site with real RTX 4090 pricing. Retailers like Bestbuy also have custom maps and prices seem to match.
The RTX 4090 may take the crown for best graphics card, but price can play a huge role when it comes to purchase. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says the RTX 3000 is still “part of a new family” so older Ampere GPUs will potentially keep the RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 hot.
Going for an older GeForce RTX graphics card comes with a big caveat though, as it means there’s no support for Nvidia DLSS 3.0. The new version of the scaler aims to improve frame rate and fidelity through AI image generation, and the technology could help make 4K gaming a standard on PC.
