BUT Return The PC port is likely in development, as a new leak previews its setup and Nvidia DLSS support. Additionally, the third-person roguelike apparently benefits from AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution support, but will likely remain at FSR 1.0.

Shared in a post on the icon era forum, Return The leak reveals the PS5 port’s gaming PC settings menu. The list includes options for shadows, lighting, and ray tracing, as well as an additional “display optimization” switch.

Naturally, you’ll need an Nvidia GeForce graphics card like the RTX 3090 for the DLSS graphics option, but gamers will be able to use FidelityFX Super Resolution to boost frame rates on any GPU. However, this tool is labeled “spatial enhancer” in the menu description, which means it is probably not compatible with FSR 2.0.

That’s not to say that FSR 2.0 isn’t suitable for Returnal, as AMD is working to expand the list of supported games. DLSS 3.0 could also be part of the port’s toolset, as a new RTX 4000-exclusive feature debuts next month alongside Nvidia’s next-gen RTX 4090 GPU.

Sony has yet to officially announce the PC port, so the system requirements for Returnal are irrelevant. That said, DLSS and FSR can help run the game even on low-cost gaming PCs, and additional enhancement options like Nvidia NIS should allow for higher frame rates on the best gaming monitor.

This isn’t the first Returnal PC leak to hit the web, as Housemarque accidentally revealed the port during a GDC 2022 keynote. Of course, while a Steam and Epic Game Store release is expected, we’d recommend taking a look. inside information carefully. of salt, especially when it comes to early builds and the settings menu.
