The Genshin Impact version 3.1 update will be released this week, which means it’s time to see how many Primogems HoYoverse has in store for players. During the update, the anime RPG celebrates its second anniversary, so Primogem numbers are higher than usual thanks to gifts and rewards, as well as some new events.
These calculations, as always, come from SoraHoshina, moderator, guide writer, and graphic designer at HoYoLAB. As usual, they give an estimate of the number of Primogems that should be available to free players and those willing to spend money on the game.
SoraHoshina created infographics for several previous updates, including 2.8 and 3.0, which turned out to be quite realistic and accurate in terms of numbers and expectations of how much effort players have to put in to get First.
On this occasion, birthday rewards have also been taken into account. These rewards add an additional 20 wishes (10 Intertwined Fates and 1,600 Primroses), as well as new rewards for quests, Sumeru Desert exploration, events, character challenges, and other sources of primroses. Take a look at the following infographic to better represent the numbers:
SoraHoshina estimates that free players should receive around 12,240 Primogems, 15 Familiar Fates, and 20 Intertwined Fates, while spendthrift players should expect around 16,070 Primogems, 15 Familiar Fates, and 24 Intertwined Fates in Genshin Impact version 3.1.
Please note that these numbers are not 100% accurate and should be considered an approximation. This is especially true if your teams can’t earn all 36 stars in Spiral Abyss.
However, all of these Primogems and Fates will help players draw the next character banners for Cino, Candice, and Venty in the first half, and Neilow and Albedo in the second half. There’s even a powerful new five-star polearm on the weapon poster next to the mighty bow, so I hope you saved those cousins.
