Valorant patch notes for update 5.07 have been released by developer Riot Games as the public beta environment (PBE) has already been released before the main FPS game client. As part of Riot’s Valorant patch notes update, progress checks for some upcoming features are being shown, with a special mention of what the team is doing with favorites and filters.

Riot “added the ability to favorite weapon skins, player cards, graffiti, gun buddies, and level borders (favorites persist until removed from favorites)” and “the ability to filter your collection (filters persist until next login)” between weapon skins such as owned/unowned and featured/unselected, as well as all other item categories such as player cards and graffiti.

“In addition to being able to sort through your weapon collection and choose your favorite weapon, you can now equip a random favorite for each weapon type. This will ensure that in every game you play, you get one of your favorite weapons (as well as one of the variants you own) randomly every time you enter a match.” adds Riot to Valorant’s patch notes.

This is all part of the current PBE for the multiplayer game, which Valorant says will end at 11:00am PT / 2:00pm EST / 7:00pm BST on Monday, September 26.
