Ubisoft has extended the deadline to report a player who cheats in Rainbow Six Siege. Per the latest anti-cheat status update, Rainbow Six Siege reports can now be done after a player disconnects from a match in multiplayer, as well as during match replays.

“With the new season, we are expanding the window of opportunity in terms of reporting,” the Siege team wrote in the latest update. “It is now possible to inform players that they have been disconnected from a match session.” The team adds that this only applies to ranked and unranked matches, but includes all sorts of reports.

Additionally, the developers have enabled reporting during match replays, explaining that reporting during a live match is often impractical or impossible. Viewing the replay can also highlight actions that players missed during gameplay.

“By adding these tools, we hope to continue to provide players with a convenient way to report suspicious/toxic people,” the developers write.

Outside of gaming, the team says it’s still possible to report cheaters via social media. If you choose to go this route, Ubisoft recommends that you include a clear video or screenshot confirming the incident, along with the username and/or ID of the offender, the match ID, and the date and time of the alleged incident. of cheating

The Siege team reports that since the last anti-cheat status update, they have taken steps to counter several new traps, including instant kill traps, infinite ammo traps, teleport traps, self-healing traps, noclip traps and madness traps. And of others.
