Assassin’s Creed Mirage there will be no partitions modern times. This was confirmed by the game’s narrative director, Sarah Beaulieu, when she talked about a return to the game’s origins, namely her desire to continue the formula of the original Assassin’s Creed.
Episodes in modern times have been available since the first Assassin’s Creed andanimus but only at the beginning of the game, as Beaulieu explains: “So I can tell you that even with access to the Animus at the start of Mirage, nothing will happen in the present.”
Technically, this absence is justified by the ending of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and Basim’s story alike, but the reference to the Animus offers a few possibilities we’ll see how it’s managed.
On the other hand, Assassin’s Creed Mirage appears to be an interlude that awaits a return to the take place role-playing game whose features have been cut to create an experience as faithful to the original games as possible. With Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red.
