Four new dinosaurs will appear in the next expansion for Jurassic World Evolution 2 this week. The Late Cretaceous Pack releases on September 15 and is a park management game, and in addition to new dinosaur species, it also adds new features and improvements that will make maintaining your park a more enjoyable experience.
But first, the dinosaurs. The Late Cretaceous pack adds Barbaridactylus, a flying dinosaur first discovered off the modern Barbary Coast of North Africa. Barbaridactylus had a conspicuous crest on its head, and Frontier says it was a very social animal, so you’ll need to build large, unique enclosures that can house multiple creatures. They become “aggressive” if they lack company and, at first glance, Nope I want it to continue goblin mode for you or your guests.
The package also includes the Alamosaurus, which is “one of the largest that ever walked the earth.” Although a gentle herbivore, Alamosaurus is armed with a crest of defensive spikes. Just make sure you reserve enough space for it to move around.
Australovenator looks a bit like an Italian supercar model, but it is actually a predator-like animal, about two meters tall, capable of catching prey with its front claws. It is joined by the Styxosaurus, which prefers to stay in the waters of the lagoons, which illuminate with their bioluminescence.
Speaking of lagoons, the Late Cretaceous pack includes new lagoon customization options that allow you to place items above and below the water. In the enclosure, escaped pterosaurs will now be able to damage helicopters in the area.
