- New chapter agent – time to meet Shen Xiu the Huntress – The newest agent of the chapter and a talented tracker. Have you come across multiple onion containers in your travels? They used to belong to her, who specializes in ranged weapons. In addition, she represents the Hunters, a mysterious faction of highly talented hunters hired to hunt down and eliminate the most dangerous of the infected. The pursuit of new prey brought her to the City.
- New Enemies – Face new dangers in the form of the Witch (a menacing variant of the Banshee) and Plaguebringers (human enemies infected by the Witch). But be careful – she is a very fast and agile enemy that is almost impossible to hit at close range and can easily catch you off guard. The witch can even withstand daylight or ultraviolet light, so you’ll have to reconsider your tactics! In addition, your Plaguebearers are almost indistinguishable from normal humans, only your Survivor Sense can help you spot them. Upon death, they release a poisonous mist that can instantly turn any human enemy around them into an infected!
- New weapon – unlock powerful equipment such as the Hunting Crossbow or Bow Ballista; A stunning new addition to your ranged weapon arsenal. However, fans of melee weapons will also enjoy deadly weapons like the Basher.
- New Rewards – Receive a new series of rewards entirely dedicated to defeating enemies with traps, ranged weapons or no damage.
- Revisit Chapter 1 – the contents of the first chapter will still be available. In addition, Harper, the agent from the previous chapter, will have new weapons, blueprints, sets, and rewards.
