A huge update to Sniper Elite 5 has just been released and adds new content to one of the most recent entries in our list of the best sniper games. With this update, Sniper Elite 5 Season Pass owners get the Hidden Target Pack, which includes a new camo, a new weapon, and a new set of weapon skins. The update also adds a new free survival map for all Sniper Elite 5 players.
The Hidden Target Pack includes new costumed elite character skins for Carl and Monica. Both skins feature a shaggy mane of tattered cloth and foliage designed to break up the silhouette of snipers as they try to blend in in the field.
The set also includes a new HS.22 pistol with an integrated silencer. It fires small .22 caliber rounds, which means it’s about as quiet as a pistol. The pack also includes a new polka dot camo weapon skin. With an orange base and a polka dot pattern, this mask looks a bit flashier than it really is.
The Hidden Target DLC is included with the Sniper Elite 5 Season Pass, but can also be purchased separately for $9.99 / £8.99.
All Sniper Elite 5 players have access to the new Amongst The Rubble map included in the latest update. The map is set in the French city of Saint-Nazaire, destroyed by ground bombs, and only traces of its former beauty remain. Alone or as part of a cooperative team, you’ll need to defend the Command Post from a “seemingly endless stream of enemies” in Amongst The Rubble.
Rebellion also added some new fan-requested features in this update, including map voting and a prestige mode that allows you to reset progress multiple times if you wish. You can become a Prestige when you reach level 50 in the competitive multiplayer modes of Sniper Elite 5.
