WoW Dragonflight Gives Hunter Adorable Ducks As Pets

WoW Dragonflight adds a ton of new content to the hugely popular MMORPG, including the tamed pets that hunters will find on the Dragon Islands. For the first time, ducks will appear in the World of Warcraft universe, and the developers at Blizzard Entertainment have managed to combine their real-life charm with the game’s inherent blend of high fantasy.

Ducks will be added to the Crane family, which will be renamed Waterfowl just to accommodate them in the group. Wowhead shares a first look at the ducks, which are downright adorable and come in a variety of color combinations, including green and brown, black and red, red and yellow, and many more.

Ducks aren’t the only new birds that hunters will be able to tame. Peacocks will also be added, a bird very similar to a peacock with large colored feathers. Phoenixes are added to the category of birds of prey and seem incredibly powerful as reliable pets for hunters.

Wind eagles, which you can find in the On’Aran Plain starting area, are potentially the wildest bird to debut as a tameable beast in Dragonflight. These horned birds are also classified as birds of prey and have a special wind-based animation that is deadly on the battlefield.

Although Hutner players will have amazing new birds at their disposal once Dragonflight is released, there is no doubt that the ducks will take center stage as the cutest of them all.
