Abragames (Brazilian Association of Digital Game Developers) through Brazil Games, an export sector project carried out by the association in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), has launched XDS (External Development Summit), a global directory event in XD (external development) held annually in Canada. The Brazilian delegation consists of nine studios and participates in various discussion circles, business rounds and lectures on internationalization and XD initiatives in the digital games industry.

This year’s event runs from today (6th) to 9th September at Parq Vancouver in Vancouver, Canada. Rodrigo Terra, President of Abragames, emphasizes the importance of the moment experienced by the Brazilian gaming industry and participation in the event. “There is a growing demand from major global developers for national studios to be hired to produce or assist in certain parts of their games,” explains Rodrigo Terra.
