All Disney Dreamlight Valley Characters

There’s a lot of Disney Dreamlight Valley Characters to save and befriend your favorite movies in this adorable farming simulator. However, the Disney game is still in Early Access and so we know that some of them are available right now, but will come to the Valley later.

Although Disney Dreamlight Valley is part of the life simulation, it is also very story-driven and some of the characters you meet are part of that story. Others can be selected and unlocked in any order from the Dream Castle, though you should read our Disney Dreamlight Valley guide first, as it recommends spending your Dreamlight on something else before unlocking all the worlds. However, here we’ll be looking at all the Disney Dreamlight Valley characters you’ll encounter in the story, as well as all the ones you can currently save from their worlds and those we haven’t seen in-game yet.

All current Disney Dreamlight Valley characters

The first character you encounter in the Valley of Dreams is Merlin from The Sword in the Stone. He plays a key role in your journey through Disney’s Dreamlight Valley, teaching you how things work and how to use your magical powers.

Here’s the full list of everyone you’ll meet on your journey to bring Dreamlight Valley back to life:

  • Merlin
  • Scrooge
  • Mickey Mouse
  • clumsy
  • Minnie Mouse
  • Donald Duck
  • Mother Gothel
  • Ursula
  • Eric
  • ariella
  • Kristoff

Very soon, Merlin will show you how to unlock the Castle of Dreams, which will give you access to the character realms. They will take you to where these additional characters currently reside and ask you to take them home. We also expect most future characters to be added to the game this way.

You currently only have access to four worlds: Moana, Ratatouille, Wall-E, and Frozen. However, there are about 26 more gates that will one day lead to more. Characters available in current worlds:

  • vaiana
  • maui
  • Remy
  • WALL E
  • Ana
  • elsa

Future Disney Dreamlight Valley Characters

From what we know of the game itself, Disney Dreamlight Valley has a lot more characters to offer, either during Early Access or after its full free-to-play release. For example, Belle and Buzz appear in the official trailer, but are not currently in the game. A number of clothing or furniture sets are also available that tie into franchises not previously included, such as Wreck it Ralph and Monsters Inc.

As mentioned, we primarily expect these characters to join Dreamlight Valley in all worlds, but we wouldn’t rule out Gameloft adding more depth to the story as well. Here are some of the characters we hope to see in the future:

  • The beast
  • beautiful
  • buzz the lightning
  • Cinderella
  • Olaf
  • pumbaa
  • raphael
  • Scar
  • Simba
  • Spot
  • Departure
  • tiller
  • Vanellope Von Schweetz
  • Wooded

While the aforementioned characters have appeared in trailers, we expect other characters from the franchise to join them, such as Sully without Mike Wazowski or Stitch without Lilo.

Characters and movies missing from Dreamlight Valley

Knowing all of the above, there are definitely some characters that we would like to see in the character roster in the future. Personally, we will not rest until we see Hercules, Meg and Tarzan pass through town. Here are some of the movies with characters missing from Disney Dreamlight Valley that may be added in the future:

  • Aladdin
  • Alice in Wonderland
  • big hero 6
  • Bravo
  • Coconut
  • Charm
  • Hercules
  • The Hunchback of Notre Dame
  • Incredible
  • the jungle book
  • Luke
  • mulane
  • Forward
  • Peter Pan
  • pinocchio
  • Pocahontas
  • The princess and the frog
  • Robin Hood
  • Sleeping Beauty
  • Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
  • Soul
  • tarzan
  • Aloft
  • winnie the pooh

Some of the previous franchises are already appearing in the game through customization items, but there is no confirmation yet of any of their characters appearing. We also cut out some more unrealistic movies, like live action movies or characters like Dumbo, Rescue Rangers, and Lightning McQueen that we’d love to see but might be too big or too small. But we have Remy, so who knows what the future holds for Dreamlight Valley.
