A League of Legends player defeats a dragon with only minions

A League of Legends player showed how easy it is to defeat a dragon in a MOBA, especially if no one is paying attention. Yorick can be an absolute threat in the top lane if he takes the lead; Seemingly constantly surrounded by his own ghouls and Virgo, if you’re playing a champion with poor wave compensation, it can be hard to stop the Gravedigger’s inevitable push.

A video posted to the League of Legends subreddit shows player Yorkick casually tossing three of his demons into a pit of dragons before heading out to assist in an ongoing team fight. The ghouls then instantly destroy the dragon and take very little damage.

Anyone who has fought Yorick knows how annoying these little demons can be. As long as the player has a small target with Mourning Mist, ghouls are agile and plentiful, dealing more damage than they should. One thing that has never crossed my mind before is how they deal with the targeted monster. a.

Good enough that the answer to this question never asked. The comments below the video are full of people trying to explain the damage ghouls take, with one user offering the most reasonable explanation: “dragon deals % damage and is reduced by 50% against ghouls.”

Another commenter adds: “That’s a complete answer. Drakes can’t kill someone faster or slower than anything else. Ghouls add their damage reduction and barely die. Put on any tank with decent stamina and you’ll get the same result.”

Yorick really plays. The player name “WhatIsATeam” also seems very plausible here, as if made for this. It may be my incredibly protected life, but League of Legends’ hidden interactions or mechanics constantly surprise me; As they say, every day is school day. I’m just waiting for the next thing to happen, like Zoe’s E ability to shoot the Baron if she walks through Karthus’ door while Garen spins and Corgi Corky shakes prey at him.
