League of Legends: G2 Esports announced a new women’s team

Today, the G2 Esports organization introduced the new female League of Legends roster.. A major League of Legends club decided that “two League of Legends rosters are better than one.”

The team to be called G2 Hela name inspired by Norse mythology, where Hel is a powerful goddess and daughter of Loki, will consist of: Olivia “Lisia” Calistua (top lane), Agne “Karina” Ivashkevichiute (jungle), Alena “TIFA” Maurer (middle) and finally the duo of bots created by Maya “Caltys” Henkel (ADC) and Eva “Colomblbl” Monvoisin (support).

G2 Esports founder and CEO Carlos “Oselote” Rodriguez commented: “At G2, we build teams and recruit the best players based on skill, talent and brand—regardless of gender or orientation. We want to give all players the opportunity to show their potential and make their dreams come true. G2 Hel features some of the best female players in the world and we’re thrilled to have them on board. As with all of our teams, they will have our full support and we can’t wait to help fill our locker with plenty of League of Legendary trophies. In fact, they had already won the trophy even before they were announced!”
