If there’s one thing that goes well with a first-person shooter, it’s cheese. At least that’s what you get from this enigmatic trailer for Project Slingshot, the codename for a new multiplayer game being worked on by C77, which itself is a newly formed studio that includes several FPS veterans from 343 Industries. and Bungie. C77 is looking for alpha testers and you can sign up for a chance to fire the cheese gun now.

Project Slingshot is set in a cyberpunk-inspired world ruled entirely by powerful corporations who prefer violence to boardroom negotiations. Their violent encounters are monetized and broadcast to legions of fans loyal to the brand.

So you get ads like this: A dairy manufacturer pairs its nutritious dairy products with a deadly assault rifle (with Gen. 2 hybrid cheddar wrapper and under-barrel grenade launcher):

C77 says that Project Slingshot features intense 16v16 objective-based combat on sandbox maps, providing “a unique experience as players choose their favorite weapon and engage in adrenaline-pumping combat in a new world.”

You can register on the official website for a chance to participate in the closed alpha tests. You will need to agree to a non-disclosure agreement and provide information about yourself and your computer.
