Where to find Dectus Medallion Halves in Elden Ring –

Elden Ring contains a world full of mysteries, alternate routes and exploration. As you navigate through the fields, you’ll come across items whose purpose you didn’t know the purpose of from the get-go. One of these coins is the Dectus coin, which can be found in two coins. The two halves of the Dectus Coin are the essential parts needed to operate a Dectus Grand Lift.

Don’t blindly see where each half of the room might be. Luckily, we’ve compiled a guide that will take you right there.

The left half of the Dectus room is the first thing most players will come across. The item found in Mistwood can be collected at the very beginning of the game without much effort.

To find it, players must travel to Fort Heath east of Eastwood. The castle is currently occupied by several soldiers that players must fight. Find the tallest tower in the castle and use the stairs to climb it. The locket was found in the treasury.

The description of the left half of the room gives players a clue as to where to find the second:

“The left half of the split coin represents Erdekh. Combining the two halves of the coin will set Dectus’ extended lifespan in motion, which connects the Altus board to Lurnia.

As noted in the left half description, the right half is located at Fort Farot in Caelid, near Dragonbarrow. Capturing this part can be a bit tricky as it contains a passing high level enemy.

As you approach the entrance to Fort Faroth, you will see that it is small, dark, and filled with giant bats. They are slightly different from the bats you will see in Limgraves, they are much healthier and have stronger attacks. There are also harps (or winged barrage songs) that can bring poison into the bouquet. Players can fight around the room or climb the stairs in hopes of finding themselves harmless.

After climbing the stairs, players must search for the treasure containing the item. Be careful as there are several Ghost Knights on top of the castle.

As soon as both figures are purchased, players can head to the Dectus Grand Lift, located between Lake Lurnia and the Altus Plateau.
