The Transformed Fringe Tower is one of Elden Ring’s potentially mystical puzzles. With the game’s usual mysterious clues, it’s hard to know exactly how to break the magic blue and gold barrier that limits the tower’s entrance. Here’s what you need to know to enter the transformed Fringe Tower and wait inside to claim the rewards.
You will need two things to complete the Transformed Fringe Tower: the Sparkling Stone Crown and the Wisdom Move. The crown you are likely to receive after graduating from Raya Lucaria Academy; Enemies throw these crowns at it with a certain frequency. The list of compatible crowns includes the Twinsage Glintstone Crown, the Olivinus Glintstone Crown, the Karolos Glintstone Crown, the Lazuli Glintstone Crown, and the Witch’s Glintstone Crown.
Azur, Lusat, Haima, and Hierodas Glintstone crowns will not work for this puzzle.
A little more difficult to gather is the movement of information. You will need to scroll down the Thops search line. We’ve got a full guide here, but here’s the gist: Meet Top at the Iriti Church beyond the Godrick Boss Arena. Talk to him and he’ll tell you that you need the academy keystone to bring Raya Lucaria to the academy and that he hopes to return to the academy one day – but he doesn’t have the key which is unique to him.
Once inside Raya Lucaria, you’ll find the second key to Glintstone Academy above the corpse hanging from a chandelier in the SubGenius Church. You can access it from the rooftops of the academy.
Dismiss the superiors and it will teach you the wisdom move.
Now that you have both the crown and the move, place them on the blue barrier with the Transformed Eaves tower. Put on the crown and get moving. The crown will shine and the barrier will crumble.
Climb the stairs to the top of the tower and loot the chest you discovered to get Haima’s Ball and Haima’s Fence, a pair of witches.
