HoloCure fans might be wondering what’s included in the upcoming September 9 update. The update will provide players with brand new content along with a host of quality of life improvements.
Released in June 2022, HoloCure is a fan game built around HoloLive, a popular VTuber band. It’s a survival game similar to Vampire Survivors, where players try to survive endless waves of enemies while collecting items and leveling up their characters. Being a small project mostly developed by one person, Kay Yu, it lacked various features that fans wanted from the very beginning. This September update is expected to add some tweaking to the title as well as new features and other content.

Despite the official patch notes, Gamezebo reports that the September 9 HoloCure update includes:
new characters
Controller support
new music @eufrik
autocorrect
New max levels for stat boosts in the shop
New items and weapons
new enemies
Alternate costumes
new maps
One of the most requested features, controller support finally arrives with this September update. This should make the already popular game accessible to more players. Autopatch is also welcome by allowing players to update HoloCure from within the game rather than having to go to the HoloCure website and install it manually.
In addition to the patch notes listed above, HoloCure is also introducing the Gambler’s Tears system. This is a new system that rewards you with creating duplicate characters when you generate tears that you can use for your chosen character.
