Genshin Impact’s reputation system allows players to earn rewards by exploring the region and completing missions there. Now that Sumeru has released with Genshin Impact 3.0, players can access a whole new region with the new reputation system, which means players can access new rewards for completing missions.
Here’s how to unlock the reputation system in Sumeru.

Once players arrive in Sumeru, the first thing players need to do is complete the quest “Chapter 3 – Act 2: Morning Brings a Thousand Roses” added in the new update. To do this, players must be at least Adventure Rank 35 and have completed the Archon quest “Chapter 2 – Act 4: Requiem for Echoes of the Deep”.
After completing the “Morning of Bringing a Thousand Roses” quest, players should go speak to Catherine in Sumeru. From there, players will unlock the World Quest “Thirty Recruiting Troops”. To complete this quest, players must go to the Master NPC, located in the northeast corner of Sumeru City, north of the spiral stairs (the NPC will be indicated by a marker on the map when this quest is active ).
After players complete all levels of the “Thirty Recruitment Units” quest and talk to the master, Sumeru’s reputation system, all quests and rewards will be unlocked.
