Recently announced at Gamescom 2022, New Tales from the Borderlands is the sequel to the original Tales from the Borderlands released in 2014. This game was originally developed by Telltale Games, but the sequel will be developed in-house by Gearbox Software. New Tales from the Borderlands will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. On PC, the game will be distributed through the Epic Game Store. New Tales from the Borderlands will hit theaters on October 21, 2022.

Two versions of the game are currently listed, the standard and deluxe editions, which cost $39.99 and $49.99 respectively. The Deluxe Edition comes with the first Tales from the Borderlands game, so only consider getting this edition if you haven’t played the original title.

New Tales from the Borderlands appears to be a smaller release that has fans waiting for upcoming Gearbox games like Homeworld 3 and the new Borderlands movie starring Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black.
