In the end, the game is only 6.2 GB, but players who have already ordered it on Nintendo Switch can pre-load it now to bypass the day one delay:
- Go to Nintendo eShop
- Find Kirby and the Forgotten Land in the search bar or go to the “Coming soon” section.
- Choose Kirby and the Forgotten Lands
- Choose “Download”
Once the download is complete, the game should play from launch as soon as it hits midnight in your own time zone.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land will be released exclusively for Nintendo Switch on March 25, 2022.
This title will be the first game in the series to be released in the traditional platform format for Switch since Kirby: Star Allies did so in 2018.
With Kirby and Forgotten Land, players will be invited to embark on the adventures of a 3D platformer in a “mysterious” world filled with devastated cities, in a tone not normally accepted in the series.
It is said that as players explore abandoned structures, malls, streets, buildings, and other past civilizations, they will be able to take control of a hot pink bubble, a hedgehog, and move “freely” through 3D stages.
They will also be able to copy enemy abilities such as sword and ice and use them to explore the attack and ammo environment.
