As officially listed by Square Enix on the FFXIV website, Patch 6.2 is a massive update divided into six best parts:
Highlighted playable content in the new patch, added Main Scenario Quests (MSQ). The Quest for Azdaja questline includes nine quests to keep players busy.
For new side quests, Tataru’s Grand Endeavor side quest series continues, where players will reunite with old friends from Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward.
Patch 6.2 is said to revise a few old missions in addition to new missions. For example, the Steps of Faith trial is now a standalone quest and no longer an eight-player trial. Beast Tribal Quests have been officially renamed to Tribal Quests in-game.
Court of Fall of Troy is the latest dungeon added to the game, featuring battles with monstrous creatures and a trial to defeat a new enemy. Players must be item level 575 or higher to participate.
Pandaemonium: Abyssos is the latest raid added to the game and is available now, while Pandaemonium: Abyssos (Savage) will release next week.
Finally, after a long wait, Island Sanctuary makes its FFXIV debut as a new space for players looking for a more peaceful experience. Here players can gather supplies, grow crops, build houses, let their minions roam free, and more. Any item created here can be sold or traded for various rewards. Take the “Seeking Sanctuary” quest from the Clueless Crier (X:11.9, Y:11.0) in Ancient Charlaian to unlock the temple on the island.
Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker Patch 6.2 is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC and Mac.
