Elden Ring update 1.04 went live on Friday and added minor bug fixes for those roaming the Lands Between.
You’ll need to use this update if you want to continue playing the game online, but that shouldn’t be a problem since the patch is less than a gigabyte in size. So here is a shared note of the patch 1.04 update for Elden Ring.
Those who doubt the world do not have the capacity to perceive it. Only a person of faith can perceive everything around him, the existence of a higher being.#ELDENRING pic.twitter.com/rx4RPYcoPz

Finally, given FromSoftware’s massive 1.03 patch that was released for the game on Wednesday earlier this week, this is certainly not a major update and shouldn’t be expected.
Elden Ring update 1.04 is only 98MB on PlayStation, 14MB on Steam, and 600MB on Xbox.
Unfortunately, there is no official comment from FromSoftware about this update yet.
According to PS4 update history (H/T MP1st), but this patch was released to fix some text related bugs.
So we hope that FromSoftware can release the patch soon to fix PC downtime and performance bugs like Steam cloud lost progress bug.
Elden Ring is now available on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | Available for S and Windows PC (via Steam).
