Tower of Fantasy’s wait time exceeds Hotta Studio’s promised fixes for the MMO game, the development team announced in a new blog post. The team didn’t say when the changes would be coming, aside from a rather vague mention that it would be “soon.” This news comes after the update on August 16 had already increased the limit and tried to reduce the waiting time. Hotta said that in addition to this shorter wait time, they will be implementing another server limit increase and will start implementing the first rounds of penalties and bans for inactive users. As for the bugs that have already been fixed, there aren’t many. The August 16 update provided compensation for purchases made when the user did not receive what they purchased and added a cooldown for emoji and chat text.
Tower of Fantasy suffered from long wait times when it launched, though a week later it seems that Hotta has gradually gotten the hang of it. The topic now shows up on Reddit much less frequently than it did in the first few days after launch, though some issues, such as grounding, seem to persist.
That said, it’s all business as usual with a new live service game release or major update, and that certainly hasn’t stopped people from watching Tower of Fantasy on Twitch, where the game quickly outpaced Genshin Impact and even Fortnite. .
