Where to find menticidal mushrooms in lamb breeding?

At some point in Cult of the Lamb, you’ll need to get your hands on the Menthicidal Mushroom. Here’s where to find them.

While the general goal of Cult of the Lamb is to kill heretics and gain followers, you will receive small quests along the way from friendly characters or your followers. Some of these quests require players to find specific items for an NPC’s personal use, for rituals, or to create various decorations. Menticidal mushrooms are one such substance and are used for a very specific brainwashing ritual.

Collecting 25 Menticidal Mushrooms will allow you to perform a ritual that will put your followers into a substance-induced trance for two days and lock their belief to 100%. Here’s where to find menticidal mushrooms.

The main place to start farming menticidal mushrooms is Anura, the second level of the game. As you walk between rooms, watch out for small clusters of red and white mushrooms, which are usually found in the corners of rooms. Destroy them to get menticidal mushrooms or spores to grow your own plant.

You must deliver enough Mentcid Mushrooms to Sozo’s Spore Cave to unlock the Brainwashing Ritual. This area is only unlocked after encountering mushroom-like worshipers in the Anura wilderness.
