Fans of the WWE 2K22 franchise rated it highly after its March 11 release. However, there were definitely issues that plagued the game, especially server issues, crashes, and game hangs.
You can be in the middle of a championship match in MyRISE, or beat Eddie Guerrero in Showcase mode in WrestleMania, but if the game freezes and crashes, your progress in that match may be lost. The 2K devs noticed the flaws and announced that they are working hard on it and “crash fixes are coming.”

RibbieWWEThe WWE 2K22 developer posted the current WWE 2K22 issues on Twitter on March 15, specifically the issues that players are experiencing.
Crash fixes are coming. Unfortunately, it’s not a switch we can flip to make everything work instantly, bugs need to be investigated to find the root cause in the code that we can work on to fix. We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

2K Sports has dealt with crashing issues in the past, especially in the NBA 2K series, but hopefully the WWE 2K22 team will address this differently and faster than the NBA 2K development team. RibbieWWE’s quick tweet since users first reported the crash is a good sign to start with.
