Diablo Immortal manifests itself with introduction video definitely heavy metal Cradle of Filth, Bury Tomorrow and Witchfire: Three famous bands of the Music for Nations label collaborate to unite the gaming and metal worlds like never before.
With 30 million players to launch in China, Diablo Immortal is played by members of three factions “arming against the evil forces of Lord of Damnation Skarn” this month.
“The artists were also the protagonists of Diablo Immortal-themed content and campaign events to celebrate the game’s release,” the press release announcing the intriguing partnership reads.
Partnership activities between Diablo Immortal and Music For Nations include:
- Art Tribute Album Takeover – Bury Tomorrow teamed up with Blizzard’s creative team to redesign iconic album covers using the hellish iconography of Diablo: Immortal! And for the first time in the world, fans will be able to experience these designs on their favorite streaming music services as Diablo Immortal takes over Bury Tomorrow’s streaming profiles over the launch weekend.
- Download Festival – Bury Tomorrow, the UK’s premier heavy music festival Download, were present at Donington Park and after their set on the festival’s Main Stage on Friday, they attended a gaming session behind the scenes of Diablo Immortal and via their social media.
- Media interviews and social media posts supporting the campaign for fans of each group engage their communities and bring them into the world of Diablo.
