Nepheli Loux is the Elden Ring NPC you will first encounter through Stormveil Castle. He is a committed and serious warrior who offers to help you fight Godrick with graft. Whether you receive his help or not, you will initiate his hotline. Here’s how to complete that.
Updated 03.17.22 11:54 PM ET: Elden Ring Patch 1.03 went live last night, concluding the rest of the Nephil Quest series. A full overview is available here.
When you first meet Luke of Nephew, he’ll be in a small room in the courtyard, outside of Godrick’s grafted arena. The nearest place of grace is an isolation cell. From there, head south into the courtyard past two soldiers and a giant. At the back of the courtyard you will find a room where a nephew is standing. Exhaust dialogue options, then fight Godrick. (Good luck!)
After defeating Godrick and running out of dialogue options with Gideon Offner, return to the round table and see the nephew standing in front of Gideon’s desk. At the end of their dialogue you will learn that she is his adopted daughter. You will also have the charm of a valuable arsenal.
The next place where you will find Nefeli will be the village of Albinurika. You should see it on the main road in the area, but if you miss it, turn south on the trail to Grace Village in Albuquerque Village. It is under a bridge leading to the boss of the Omenkiller. Speak dialogue options, then kill the Omenkiller.
In Nefel’s next game, you can find a spot by returning to the round table and turning the stairs to the left and next to the blacksmith Master Hughes.
At this point, the Nefeli research line begins to intersect with the preceptor Seluvis. If you encountered her in Ranni’s Rise in the Three Sisters sub-zone, you can find her on nearby Seluvis’s Rise. When you do, he will give you the Celuvian elixir and tell you to drink Nephel.
If you do what he says, you will see that he made a doll out of it and ate it in his secret room; You can take his ashes. Alternatively, you can talk to Gideon Ofner about Celvis’ plan and he’ll offer to secretly destroy the potion, leaving Celvis in the dark – or you can give it to the Nagl Eater as long as you go through the hotline. He is tied to a chair and takes the seedbed curse. In this case, you will collect his ashes instead of your nephew.
Whichever option you choose, you will now be able to learn magic from Tutor Seluvis.
If you decide not to give a potion to Nephel, you’ll have a chance to give it to King Stormhawk, who you’ll find in the Prospect Chapel. To reach the chapel (which you can recognize from the start of the game), you must go to the four bell towers northeast of Lake Lurnia. These four bell towers on the hill can send you to many places with a viaduct, one of them is the Chapel of Waiting. You’ll need a sharp sword key, but don’t worry if you don’t have one: the steeple on the hill will give it to you for free.
With the Imbued Sword Key in hand, look for a Guide called Precipice of Precipitation in a nearby post. Use the key in the footprints, then return to the waiting church. Proceed through the area, defeat the grafted Scion that killed you at the start of the game, and return to the chapel itself.
Turn right in front of the chapel and you will see that the previously opened door is now open. Go up the stairs and collect the item to get the Stormhawk King. (There’s also a chest to steal on the second floor of the chapel.)
Return to Nephel and deliver it to the King of Stormhock. Exhaust communication options.
To complete this quest, you must complete Kenneth Heath’s quest at the point where Limgrave says he intends to find his new lord. You must also defeat Shardbearer Morgott, Omen King, and Maliketh Black Blade to still be alive.
If you meet these criteria, return to the throne room beyond the arena grafted by Godrick. You will find Nephel there and Kenneth and Nephel will tell you that it is ruled by Limgrave. It will reward the player with an Ancient Dragon Forge Stone. If he’s still alive at this point, the Gostok Gate will also be in the throne room, selling the second Old Dragonsong Stone for 20,000 runes.
The first last paragraph of this guide can be found below:
Thanks to data mining, we know that the Nephil Suite task sequence aims to go beyond this point. Players could restore the throne to Stormwell, become the Lady of Limgrave, and seek out Kenneth Heath for the new ruler of Limgrave. The voice dialog for this feature can be found in-game using the memory edit. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any access to this content through a standard game.
