FromSoftware and Bandai Namco published there 1.06 patch from Hand Ring, available on all platforms: PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PS4 and PS5. According to the brief description, this is an update aimed at making gameplay more stable and improving game balance.
These great additions:
- Added functionality to send summoning beacons to collection pools in various areas, including some far away (except Mohgwyn Palace).
- Added the functionality to invade a larger area, including very distant ones.
- Added an alternate way to advance the White Mask Varre questline that requires you to defeat a new non-player character, not take part in multiplayer invasions.
The official release note also reports the resolution of many remaining bugs, along with many changes to better balance the game, such as some applied to the Greatsword, Curved Greatsword, and Great Hammer weapons. As such, Elden Ring is even cleaner than in patch 1.05.
