Esports organization Natus Vincere presented the formation of NAVI Junior Dota 2, a team of young and talented players aged between 15 and 17. And here is the new Junior Dota 2 NAVI roster:
carry, Taras “gotthejuice” Linnikov (17 years old); mid, Richards “Ri4man” Kalniņš (age 15); offline, Yuri “pma” Prots (16 years old); Support, Tamir “daze” Tokpanov (16 years old); hard support, Stanislav “Riddis” Mitroshkin (age 16) and finally technology Ivan “Artstyle” Antonov. All of them are among the top 300 players in the world ranking.
Ivan “Artstyle” Antonov, the team manager carefully selected 5 players who will now make up the entire squad. The selection process took about three months and was supervised by the club’s sports manager. Amiran “love” Rekhviashvilipreviously participated in the creation of NAVI Esports Camp and NAVI Junior CS:GO.
Amiran “ami” Rekhviashvili, Head of Esports at NAVI, said:
“NAVI Junior Dota 2 is our new project aimed at developing the youth scene in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Looking at the success of our CS:GO academy, we understand that we can promote world-class players who will be loyal to the club and will be easy to work with in the future. I believe other major clubs will follow suit to expand the Dota 2 academic scene and improve the ecosystem of the discipline. That’s exactly what we did in CS:GO.”
